National Anti-Bullying Week Competition 2013

Get Excited and Make Things Happen

Our Anti-Bullying Competition ends Friday 6th December 2013.

Anti-Bullying Week is a UK event which happens every November! This year it is happening from the 18th to the 22nd November. This event is held to raise awareness of bullying within schools and communities, and to highlight ways of prevention and responding to bullying.

Our competition theme this year is ‘STAND TOGETHER AGAINST BULLYING’.

We are calling on all of you to get involved and show us how you ‘stand together against bullying’. This could be done as a small or large group with your friends, family, club or even your whole school! Get creative, get imaginative and get excited for your chance to win some amazing prizes.

Things to think about…

Your team: The most important part of this competition is standing together as a team! How big is the team going to be? What different roles can people do? How can everyone get involved?
Be different: How can you make sure your entry stands out? What is your group’s ‘WOW’ factor?
Strengths: Use the group member’s strengths to your advantage, if they are amazing at drama maybe create a performance entry? If they are good at art, a poster might be a good idea! Everyone has something they can bring!
Timeframe: How long will it take you to put the entry together? Could it be completed during Anti-Bullying Week? It may be worth putting together a brief schedule with your team.
Review: Don’t forget to check over your entry before you send it in. Are everyone’s ideas included? Have you shown how you ‘stand together against bullying’?
