Every year in November, the Anti-Bullying Alliance co-ordinate Anti-Bullying Week. The aim of this week is to get everyone to come together to work to stop bullying. The theme for this year's Anti-Bullying Week is 'Power for Good'.
The Diana Award will be celebrating Anti-Bullying Week by hosting two conferences in Blackpool (9th November 2016) and London (14th November 2016) for young people across the UK to come together to take a stand against bullying.
These conferences will be an opportunity for young people and professionals from all over the UK to come together to actively take and stand against bullying and explore the topic of bullying through creative workshops.
You can book places at any one of these conferences using the online booking form at the bottom of the page. For more information including event location, timings and cost please download the 2016 Anti-Bullying Week information flyer using the below link:

aNTI-BULLYING WEEK COMPETITION 2016!
This year for anti-bullying week we are launching our ‘Shake Bullying Off’ competition.
The competition will require participants to post to social media or send us in a video clip of their most smart, funny, creative, and effective ways of dealing with bullying on the day. What can you do to make yourself feel better right after you’ve been bullied in a certain way? The posts should consist of either a short video or a picture, and an explanation of their method of choice. If using social media, the participants should tag their posts as required according to the social media outlet they plan to use; along with at least two other friends / celebrities which they invite to try their methods of ‘shaking it off’.
Some examples include going out for a fun meal, singing loudly in your room to your favourite empowering song, dancing it off while jumping on a mattress, printing off and shredding mean comments, taking your BFF out for a milkshake, etc.
Here is an example of our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors 'Shake Bullying Off!"
We will repost favourite, funny, and creative methods on our social media accounts, and eventually pick as winners the entrant with the most original and enjoyable methods of shaking bullying off. Winners will receive some great prizes.
If you are unable to participate via social media please send your entries to firstname.lastname@example.org through filemail.com or by sending a hard copy of your entry in the post to Frankie Spivey, The Diana Award, 120 Moorgate, London, EC2M 6UR!
The deadline for entries is Sunday 20th November at 5pm.
This competition is open to people from all over the world!
If you are entering through social media, please make sure you use the following hastags: #ShakeBullyingOff #AntiBullyingPro
If you wish to notify us of your entry via social media (using the above hastags!) please fill in the below form - this is optional but can help us make sure we have noted your entry!
