The Positive Post Box!

Nationwide Building Society and The Diana Award have teamed up to deliver positivity to school children across the UK!
With an aim to stamp out bullying and spread joy, we’re encouraging children to pick up a pen and paper and get posting.
Schools across the UK are being invited to sign up to the Positive Post Box, empowering children to channel positivity either by writing a letter or drawing a picture which will then be posted through the Positive Post Box and sent to another child somewhere in the UK at a partner school.
In line with The Big Anti-Bullying Assembly, and joined by some familiar faces, children will be invited to send and receive their letters, teaching them it’s cool to be kind and promoting mutual respect and proactive kindness to others from a young age.
Entries are now closed, and participating schools will be notified soon!
In the meantime, you can download some fun Positive Post Box resources below.

Bullying is something that sadly most people experience at some point in their life. Almost three out of four children (72%) who have been victims of bullying experienced at least some of it at school or during school time .

Building on its ‘Mutual Respect’ campaign, Nationwide Building Society wants to continue its aim to teach and build respect from an early age by working with The Diana Award to spread a positive message throughout the UK.
Mutual respect is about caring for one another, treating others as equals to help us all thrive. In a recent Nationwide Building Society survey, it was found that 71% of the UK feel that levels of respect in society have declined in the last few years. This is what inspired Nationwide Building Society to work with other organisations committed to creating a more caring and mutually respectful society, in all walks of life.
Alongside the Positive Post Boxes, Nationwide is working with The Diana Award to train an extra 10,000 Anti-Bullying Ambassadors in over 660 primary schools across the UK over the next three years. Through this initiative, school children can develop key skills around tackling bullying, celebrating difference and supporting their peers, online and offline.
