1 . What was your school like?
I went to an all boys school in central London, islington. Most people assume I went to private school just because its in central. But its not.
2. What is your favourite memory from school?
Playing football with a bottle in year 7 and 8. The head teacher didn't allow footballs and other sports equipment in the playground at break or lunch, so we were stuck with bottles.
3. How did your school experience influence/help your career?
Many kids think school is useless but it isn't. All the lessons that you do in school helps you craft your career in the future. Even if you think to yourself why am I here , you make big decisions after school is done. As they say everything happens for a reason. Personally it helped me a lot without me being conscious about it, it leads you to great places.
4. Were you bullied at school? If so how did you overcome this?
I only got bullied in primary school and got fed up of it so I told my parents and my dad told the school. which everything did get better after that.
5. What was your favourite school subject?
English. I'm joking it was definitely Art, Drama and PE. Art the most.
6. What did you look forward to when you went back to school after the holidays?
After the holidays finished in a way I was many times happy and gutted at the same time. Due to my laziness. Knowing I will see my friends after a while and having my favorite subject on a Monday morning was delightful. The advice I would give after the holidays would be, to just think about the things you look forward to in school.
7. Was there anything you worried about when you went back to school after the holidays?
I was always worried about getting detentions for no reason and having no explanations for it. Because I certainly know this happens to many kids in school. Even though their parents or teachers don't believe them when they say I haven't done anything. My advice is to just don't get involved with trouble and trouble wouldn't get in your way.
8. What was your favourite school meal?
In year 11 we had a chance to go out for lunch and buy our lunch which was the most enjoyable. Before all of that I really did actually enjoy my schools chicken drumsticks!
9. If you had to go back to school again what would you change?
I wouldn't change one thing to be honest. As I said everything happens for a reason. I would always do most of my work and have fun at the same time. I always had good times and bad times at school but, that's what we live for.
10. What advice would you give to anyone who is worried about going back to school?
My advice is just to keep your chin up and just simply be yourself. Be unique. Everyone is different and if someone is senseless enough to not acknowledge that fact then you my friend have way more things in life to look forward to and just keep smiling.
