This Back To School, The Diana Award have partnered with Kooth to shine a light on the impact of mental health and anti-bullying on young people across the UK.
Millions of young people head back to school this September, with many of them ‘suffering in silence’ due to facing bullying behaviours. New research commissioned by The Diana Award and Kooth has revealed that more than 1 in 3 young people have avoided telling their parents or carers they are being bullied because they thought they wouldn’t understand.
To further amplify our messaging of speaking out, we have created digital ‘out of home’ billboards to show the harsh reality that many young people face every year going back to school.
The Diana Award and Kooth have partnered to shine a light on the impact of mental health challenges on young people across the UK. By uniting Kooth’s accessible mental health support with The Diana Award’s expertise in building skills and confidence, we’re creating a powerful partnership to inspire lasting change.
The only charity founded in the memory of the late Princess of Wales, The Diana Award provides support and opportunities to ensure no young person is left out or left behind.
Our anti-bullying programme has trained 50,000 ambassadors in 5,000 schools, and has been proven to make a huge difference to rates of bullying and to the lives of pupils. We hope you’re up for being part of the campaign to help start conversations and drive public support for our anti-bullying initiatives.
Don't keep things bottled up. Speak to your support network (e.g. friends, family, teachers and other people you trust) about how you're feeling. They will be able to listen and provide support.
