An Educator’s Guide to Anti-Racist Bullying

Objectives

This guide was co-created with young people to equip educators with knowledge and tools to understand, recognise, and respond to racist bullying in schools.

It aims to:

1. Increase educators’ understanding of racist bullying behaviour and its impact

2. Provide some practical tips for responding to racist bullying behaviour and fostering a supportive, inclusive school community

3. Offer insights from young people on the Respect Project and Young Changemaker Programme, with lived experience of racist and racist bullying behaviour
